SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS—April 13, 2022— Compass Intelligence is honored to announce the award winners of the 10th annual CompassIntel Awards to honor the top companies, products, and technology solutions in mobile, IoT, and emerging technology industries. This year we received 105+ nominations coming in from companies, public relations, and corporate communications firms, editors, journalists, analysts, and other colleagues. These awards, excluding the Compass Intelligence selected awards, were voted on by 40+ industry-leading press, editors, journalists, thought leaders, and analysts in early April. A total of 40 awardees are being recognized, including 37 nominated awards in mobile, IoT, and emerging technology, and 3 Compass selected awards. Of the 3 Compass Intelligence submitted awards, those include edge computing and operations innovation.

 Zebra SmartSight recognized as innovative IoT solution by Compass Intelligence

Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the front line of business with solutions and partners that deliver a performance edge, today announced that Compass Intelligence recognized its SmartSight™ intelligent automation solution with an IoT Retail & Customer Experiences Innovator Award. The Retail & Customer Experiences category evaluated solutions that support industry innovation, advancements in processes or operations specific to retail services, customer experience enhancements, transaction automation, innovative buying experiences, and other retail advancements.
 
SmartSight is the retail industry’s first subscription-based robotics solution that turns data into corrective actions for mass merchants, grocers, and supermarkets/hypermarkets. It is comprised of the EMA50 mobile automation system, retail automation software platform and both professional and managed services. Using 2D and 3D sensors, SmartSight creates a digital twin of stores and their shelves to help determine if there are out-of-stocks, price integrity or planogram compliance issues.
