With over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Bill is passionate about leveraging his expertise in intelligent infrastructure, cloud strategy, and IoT to drive social impact and innovation. While he is a contributing analyst and advisor to Compass Intelligence clients, he is also the Co-Founder/Managing Partner at Smart Connections Consulting and a Technology Advisor at Autonomy Institute, a national priority that aims to deliver intelligent infrastructure for all of our world's transformative initiatives. Bill also recently founded yourTrueNorth.io, where True North is a software services company that specializes in developing “Trust, Transparency, and Traceability” SaaS solutions for government and enterprise clients. Bill is an analyst/advisor with deep expertise in cellular, smart cities, digital transformation, data intelligence, digital twins, and including other related topics such as cybersecurity and connectivity technologies.
Mr. Pugh has worked heavily in the IoT, Smart City, Smart Grid, and M2M markets, advising businesses and municipalities on platform, solution, and ethical data use requirements that result in equity and new revenue streams. He has also provided strategic consulting on solution development and implementation, emerging technology evaluations, and business model development. Bill has authored and co-authored multiple publications and best practices as it relates to Smart Grid, Smart City and Cybersecurity/Privacy.
