Dan is a thought leader and industry observer with 25 years of experience working with high tech and Internet start-ups, cloud computing companies, management and foresight consultancies, and political and public policy organizations. His experience working in the San Francisco Bay Area and within the Silicon Valley culture during the peak of the dotcom boom serves as the foundation for Dan’s work today.
He is co-author of “Cloud Computing Made Easy,” and received his Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and Russian Literature from University of California, Santa Cruz. He has been published in hundreds of tech and business journals, including Wall Street Journal, IT World, and other mainstream and trade press outlets; and he is behind the scenes in the creation of numerous industry white papers. He also offers insight into how the emerging tech industry is re-shaping the global landscape, and having lived for several years in Bangkok, brings a deep understanding of how Asian economies are rapidly rising to an even playing field with the West. Dan also serves as senior PR counsel at Ugly Dog Media.
